Standards, Procedures & Work Instructions All Risky & critical activities or tasks have written specific procedures & safe work instructions in place as necessary. High Risk activities for MOISS includes: Working at height. Maintenance activities. Chemicals Storing & Handling. Working at hot atmosphere. Running pressure testing. Working on jetty area. HSE standards & procedures are listed in HSE Regulations Manual. The appropriate standards & procedures are readily accessible to employees, suppliers and contractors and are written in a way that users will understand. Line managers ensure that relevant HSE procedures and requirements for their area of operations are communicated regularly to all concerned parties. Simplified forms of HSE procedure (Hand Book) are made available in different languages. HSE Manuals & Procedures are distributed in hard copy or read only as an electronic copy to prevent un-authorized editing or printing. It is the responsibility of the document holders to make sure that he has the recent and the most up to date version of HSE Documents. We have a defined process for development and reviewing of HSE Manuals, procedures and work instructions in place, which includes employee involvement, and is done by using amendment forms. This process ensures that HSE objectives are achieved in best compliance with MOISS's policies, and legislative requirements are entirely met. In addition to the formal review cycle of HSE Manuals every 5 years, a modification to HSE Manuals and procedures are initiated by operations employees and are reviewed in light of incidents or accidents that may have flagged in MOISS's operations and activities.
Control of Documents All standard Documents required by the system are controlled. Records are special types of forms and are controlled according to the MOISS’s Quality Management system. A documented procedure is established to: Approve documents for adequacy prior to issue. Review and update as necessary and re-approve documents. Ensure that changes and the current revision status of documents are adhered to. Ensure the recent versions of applicable documents are available at points of use. Ensure that documents remain fit for purpose and readily identifiable. Ensure that documents are identified and their Distribution List is controlled to prevent the unintended use of obsolete documents. (HSE Manuals Distribution list) Apply suitable identification form numbers to them if they are retained for any purpose.
Control of Records Records are established and maintained to provide physical evidence of implementation of all procedures & conformity with MOISS’s HSE-MS. Records maintained are legible, up to date and retrievable. A Quality Control Procedure is established to define the controls needed for the identification, storage, protection, retrieval, retention time and disposition of records.
